No matter how big or small, almost all of us experienced some kind of trauma as children.

These traumas could vary from having your favorite stuffed toy thrown in the trash, to being abandoned by your best childhood friend or family, your teacher embarrassing you in front of the whole class to being physically or emotionally abused. 

Inner child work is a vital component of inner work because it reconnects us with a wounded element of ourselves: the child within. When we reconnect with this fragmented part of ourselves, we can begin to discover the root of many of our fears, phobias, insecurities and sabotaging life patterns. This is where the true healing happens!

Creating an altar or a sacred space for me is to allow me to connect with myself. Our first moment of the day are most open and sacred it bridge the gap between dreaming and consciousness. It's the perfect time to connect with your precious soul , rather than tuning in to the outside noise go inside first. Set     a positive intention for the day ahead, visualise how you like your day to flow. I also like to send blessings to my work place and loved ones. 

It also is a  magical way to spark a conversation with the Universe in your home or office. It amplifies your intention and creates space for your desires to manifest.

 1. Take A Deep Breath- When painful emotions arise, its easy to get swept away in the thoughts around the emotion. take a deep breath and get centerned.

2. Remember that feelings are both universal and temporary- Sometimes the scariest part of feeling is fearing it'll last forever, or that you're the only one who feels it. Remember that everyone feels pain and people have their own way of expressing alot of times they just don't which is where it can turn into an explosion of anger later. This feeling is a call for more love, not less.

3. Ask , " What Is This Feeling Trying to Tell Me?- Maybe you need to set a boundary or ask for help. Or express your emotions, alot of times we could all just start the thought in our own head out...

1. Daily meditation - helps you create peace from inside and staying connected to the loving and strong part of you. Allowing you to observe your circumstances without being swept away by it. Now meditation doesn't have to be sitting in a lotus pose...it can be a quiet walk in the park, it can be when you are relaxing in the bath find what it is that allow you to connect back to that inner peace.

2. Get moving! When you feel low you dont feel motivated to do anything besides lying around and binging unnecessarily.
